Note: This policy is a general starting point drafted for a new UK lead-generation business and has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor. Connect Deal Hub's registration with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller is pending and will be completed before this site is used for paid advertising. Who we are

Connect Deal Hub ("we", "us", "our") operates connectdealhub.co.uk, an independent UK comparison and lead-generation service for mobile and home broadband deals. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What data we collect

When you use our lead form, we collect: full name, email address, phone number, postcode (optional), current provider (optional), what you're interested in (mobile/broadband/both), preferred contact time, any message you provide, and your consent choices. We also automatically log your IP address and browser user agent for security and spam-prevention purposes.

Why we collect it (lawful basis)

We process your data on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you tick the consent checkboxes on our form. We use your data to:

  • Contact you by phone, email or SMS about mobile and/or home broadband deals matching your stated interest;
  • Where relevant, share your enquiry with a specific mobile or broadband provider or partner you have expressed interest in, so they can follow up with you directly;
  • Maintain records of enquiries for customer service and legal/accounting purposes;
  • Prevent fraud and abuse of our contact form.

You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@connectdealhub.co.uk; this will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your enquiry details with mobile or broadband providers or comparison partners strictly for the purpose of following up on the deal you expressed interest in, and with service providers who help us operate this website (for example, our hosting provider). We do not share your data with any third party for purposes unrelated to your enquiry without asking you first.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above, and no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us, unless we're required to keep it longer by law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email support@connectdealhub.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we have not handled your data properly.
